The Fushimi brewery famous nationwide for its kappa mascot, now pouring sake, craft beer and whisky at its Fushimigura experience hall.
Founded in 1925 in Fushimi, Kizakura built national name recognition through its kappa (river-imp) mascot characters. The brewery has taken an adventurous path beyond sake, adding craft beer and whisky to its range. At its Fushimigura facility, visitors can learn about sake culture through exhibits, a shop and a restaurant, with reserved tours available.
